THE EXPERIENCE

Boudoir photography for people
who are ready to see themselves differently

WHAT TO EXPECT

Most people who reach out to me are nervous. Many have never done anything like this before, and some haven’t felt at home in their bodies in years. If that sounds like you, you’re exactly who this experience was made for.

From your first message to the day you hold your finished artwork, every step is guided. You’ll never be left wondering what to wear, how to stand, or what comes next.

You don't need to know how to do this.
That's my job.

THE PROCESS

Seven steps.
Every one of them guided.

01

Let's Connect

It starts with a simple conversation. Reach out through my contact form, and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to answer your questions and set up a quick Zoom call. When you’re ready to book, a signed contract and a $100 retainer reserve your date. Your retainer is applied to your final balance.

02

Your Consultation

Before your session, we’ll meet over Zoom to talk about you. Why now? What do you hope to feel when you see your images? What are you excited about, and what makes you nervous? This is where I learn who you are, so your session reflects you rather than a template.

03

Planning & Styling

This is the fun part. I’ll help you plan what to wear, whether that’s lingerie, a bodysuit, fitted boxer briefs, a crisp button-down, an oversized sweater, or something meaningful of your own. You’ll have my style guide to work from, and women are welcome to borrow from my client closet. I’m always a message away if you want a second opinion. My advice is to bring more than you think you need. We’ll choose together.

04

Hair & Makeup

On session day, you’ll begin with professional hair and makeup, included in your session fee. I’ll coordinate with my stylist to secure your session date, and she’ll connect with you directly to plan your look. This is your time to relax, sip something, and settle in. By the time you step in front of the camera, you’ll already feel different.

05

Your Session

This is where you simply get to be present. I’ll guide every pose, down to where your hands go, how to tilt your chin, and when to breathe. Most clients tell me the nerves fade within the first few minutes. Sessions last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on your session type, and take place in my downtown Grand Rapids studio. Prefer a different setting? We can also shoot in your home or at a local boutique hotel for an additional fee.

06

Your Reveal & Ordering Appointment

Within a week of your session, you’ll see your images for the first time. This is often the most emotional part of the experience. It’s the moment you finally see yourself the way I saw you. Together, we’ll choose your favorites and design the collection that feels right for you, whether that’s an heirloom album, fine art prints, wall art, or a digital collection.

07

Your Artwork

Your images are meant to be held, not lost on a phone. Your finished products arrive within 2 to 3 weeks after your final edits are complete, ready to return to whenever you need the reminder of who you are.

INVESTMENT

Clear pricing.
No surprises.

Session fees begin at $200, depending on the type of session you choose, and include professional hair and makeup, your consultation, session time, and ordering appointment. Images and products are purchased separately, with most clients investing between $1,500 and $2,500. Digital collections begin at $990, and albums at $1,490.

YOUR PRIVACY

Your images are yours.
Always.

I never share a single photo online or in my marketing without your permission. You choose exactly which images, if any, can be shared, and keeping them all private is always completely okay. Your experience stays between us.

KIND WORDS

“From the moment I met Ellie,
I felt comfortable.”

“I was really nervous going into my boudoir session, but I knew I wanted to do this for myself. I hadn’t felt beautiful or sexy in years, especially after becoming a mom. She is so down to earth, easy to work with, and made the entire experience feel natural and fun. When I saw my photos, I was blown away.”

READY WHEN YOU ARE

You don’t have to feel ready.
You just have to take the first step.
